We’re located right smack dab in the center of Lexington’s historic Distillery District, which means a ten minute walk or two minute bike ride to Rupp Arena, Thursday Night Live at the Central Bank Center, and the like. We love CD Central for records, the downtown Lexington Farmer’s Market and breakfast at the Keeneland race track. Choose your own adventure.
LEXINGTON’S KEY ATTRACTIONS
Located in the heart of the Bluegrass region, Lexington is a dynamic, cosmopolitan hub that plays home to more than 500 horse farms and bourbon distilleries, of which includes the only combination distillery and brewery on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. Visitors are drawn to the city for fine-dining experiences, world-class horse parks and horse racing events, collegiate basketball, and its rich cultural heritage.
BEST TIMES TO VISIT
Lexington is a year round destination, with two high demand seasons during Spring and Fall. Reflecting the racing seasons and sales at Keeneland, peak periods are April and October, with a smaller peak in July. Following the Fall season, there is a contraction during the winter as temperatures cool, starting in November through to February, with a trough in December.
